Our Mission Statement:

We are a people who encourage one another to celebrate our life in Christ. God changes ordinary life into abundant living, through our participation in worship, Christian education, fellowship and service.

We cultivate relationships among those of all ages, allowing us to rejoice with each other's joys and uphold and sustain one another during times of need.

We provide all people the opportunity to find and develop their God-given gifts.

We make the love of God real to our neighbors as we seek to live out the Scriptures and grow in our faith.

Through our doors all may find refuge and comfort in God's saving love and grace.

Since Pastor Bill will be gone on a pilgrimage for 40 days walking 500 miles on the Camino de Santiago from France to Spain, we are pleased to have Rev. J. W. Gregg Meister here to serve our congregation for the 6 weeks following Easter.

Rev. Meister started Interlink Media in 1988 and has produced many educational videos in service to the church. Rev. Meister has a Master's Degree in communications from the Annenberg School of Communications, University of Pennsylvania (1988). From 1975 to 1986 he was the Senior Pastor of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, California. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary (1971) and earned a Master's Degree in radio and television production from San Francisco State University in 1975.

Gregg has been married to Dr. Gail R. Meister since 1971. They have a daughter, Miriam, who was active in our Sunday School and a member until relocating to Texas in 2004.

Gregg will be filling the pulpit on Sundays and preaching a sermon series "The Prayer Book of Jesus: A Warrior's Field" based on various Psalms. He will be leading the Tuesday morning Bible study group through May 19th. He will also be in the church office on Tuesday mornings from 9 AM until noon.
Session will meet as usual on Monday, May 11th at 7:30 PM and will be moderated by Rev. Meister.

The congregation will be richly blessed by Gregg's ministry among us. Be sure to give him your usual warm welcome! Thanks Gregg!

Please pray for Pastor Bill and his son, Mark, as they are gone on the pilgrmage and for their families while they're gone.
